Springtime in Our Yard

Below are the "before" and "after" pictures from this past week of weeding and edging the gardens which, indeed, made a tremendous improvement!

Cortisone shots in both knees enabled the weeding and edging of our 7 flower bed. They've been pretty much neglected for the past two years for a variety of reasons, not the least of which was the fact the the gardens bloom riotously all spring and summer - so why disturb what works, right? Except these poor plants still need some thinning out and eventually they will, indeed, be thinned out.

The peonies are getting ready to bloom, the seedlings are nearly ready to plant, and today it's raining - perfect timing for the garden, to be sure!

Pat, your photos are so beautiful. I just spent 20+ minutes going through some of your old posts and admiring all the photography.
