Our Newest Family Member - a Puppy!

OK, this is a tad obsessive. However, we haven't had a puppy in over 20 years so our new "baby" is getting all my attention at the moment. Her official name is Spunkmire and she's two months old. Her mommy was a full blood Cavalier King Charles and no one has a clue about daddy - we we have ourselves an adorable mixed Cav. Cavaliers were originally bred to be companions to royalty. Thus, puppy is very much a velcro-pup and she follows me everywhere. At the moment she's howling in her cage after wetting the carpet - but it's 7pm and this is the first wetting so that's pretty good.

So I'll bore you with photos now and then. Hope you enjoy.

Too cute! Nothing like a new baby! I love the puppy stage, even when training can be a bit frustrating. That's why they come so adorable! By the way, the third picture from the end is fantastic and if I'd taken it, then I would definitely be entering it in the new contest for the International Quilt Festival in Houston this year. It's called, "The Eye of the Quilter: Inspiration" and anything goes, as far as subject matter is concerned...whatever inspires you. Check it out! I think that would make a fabulous entry!
