Old Painting - New Frame

This is an old watercolor done back when I was selling my watercolors at quilt shows. The quilt pattern behind the Osprey is called "birds in flight," which seems rather appropriate for a soaring hawk. We just had this re-framed to better hang in our present home on a natural stone fireplace. Now all we have to do is figure out how to hang it...

Autumn is Slowly Arriving...

I left this morning in the midst of pea-soup fog, but came home not too much later to bright sunshine. Here's my day in photos!

One Exhibit Down, Another Up!

Here's the latest art show with my work at the Bellefonte Art Museum in downtown Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. I will be present to talk about my work from 12:00 noon to 4:30pm this coming Sunday, October 16th. Hope some of you can stop in while you are out leaf-peeping!

Below are a few photos of my work at the museum.

Other exhibits at the Bellefonte Art Museum can be read about here. There's one particular show right now by the Farmland Preservation Artists of Central Pennsylvania that you might enjoy. I'll add some photos of the farm painting exhibit because I love farms in central PA! Enjoy!

Be sure to click on each picture for an enlargement so you can see the details of these wonderful works of art!
