My mom lives outside of Lancaster now. A looong boring drive until we get there, and then so beautiful I wish we never had to leave.
One time we saw birds streaming from one horizon to the other, like the milky way by day, or a river in the air. I had never seen such a thing. The locals didn't even look up.
