July Continued...

One of our many chipmunk pals.

Culver Root

And more lilies...

Below are scenes taken during our visit to the Mount Nittany Inn Restaurant the other evening. It's an incredible view of miles of rural Pennsylvania farmland and small towns (Pleasant Gap and Centre Hall).

Below, a few shots of a Yellow-shafted Flicker.

Anyone know what kind of bird this is? Some sort of blackbird - perhaps an immature cow bird?

Mourning Doves on our newest bird feeder - gift from friends of ours who happen to own the Ranney Brook Farm B&B in West Townshend, VT. I admired their delightful little bird-feeder swing during our recent stay. So Dianna proceeded to inquire of the craftsman if he had any left - and he had one left. She put it in the mail to me and now it rests in our Dogwood tree. Between the Mourning Doves, Blue Jays, squirrels and chipmunks, it's a busy place!

This is my birthday gift from my honey. It's a water fountain - solar powered so it pours water only when the sun shines. I love the blue ceramic bowls and pitcher - and we hope the birds will come to love, it too.

Bee Balm:

St. John's Wort:

Last but not least, more lilies!

Now It's Truely July!

The Nasturtiums are finally in bloom!

If I were a flower, guess what kind I would be???
