To fix the Angelina(c) in place, there were some thread choices to be made. Above and below were the 2 most likely.

Dark blue netting (see below) was placed over the entire piece to keep the Angelina fibers from getting tangled in the darning foot. Free-motion quilting with the lighter of the two verigated blue threads of no specific curving design was used.
